Assistant Professors in Information Sciences and Technology AND Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations
Penn State Berks invites applicants for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in the areas of Information Sciences and Technology and Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations. The successful Information Sciences and Technology candidate will teach courses in the areas of Cybersecurity, Information Sciences and Technology, and Risk Analysis and Management, the successful candidate in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations will teach courses in the areas of Cybersecurity, Malware Analysis, Cybersecurity Analytics, and Computer Programing. The candidates are expected to establish an active research program with a strong record of sustained scholarly activity. Participation in research with undergraduates is also encouraged.
The candidates are also expected to advise students and provide career guidance, as well as participate actively in campus, university and community service activities. Penn State Berks is an undergraduate campus college of the Penn State University and is located near Reading, PA.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Sciences, Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field with a focus on Information Security and Risk Management and Cybersecurity Analytics. Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is desired.
