The Department of Biology invites applications for a visiting appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Biology with expertise in cell biology or genetics, for the Spring semester of 2024. This is a one-semester position. Applicants with a Ph.D. or ABD applicants will be considered. All applicants must have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will teach two sections of an introductory course in cell biology and genetics. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the growing diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching. Demonstration of evidence-based inclusive pedagogy and mentoring to a diverse population of students is essential. This position is eligible for Middlebury College's generous benefits package.
