What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Graduate Program Coordinator within the Department of Computer Science at the School of Engineering and Computer Science.

A Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant work experience is required. A Master's Degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
  • Manage and advise students on courses, registration, deadlines, and progress towards graduation
  • Maintain student files and records; ensure confidentiality of information
  • Manage graduate student payroll and assistantship needs; Provide administrative support for grants that support graduate students
  • Enter petitions for students
  • Plan and provide support for activities related to graduate programs, student success and retention, including new student orientation, and manage student resources
  • Provide faculty and adjunct support and assist with class scheduling, meetings, and meeting minutes
  • Manage curriculum, audit, and catalog updates in partnership with department faculty
  • Interface and collaborate with Baylor's graduate school and other campus partners
  • Manage prospective student communication and events and respond to all queries
  • Coordinate recruitment activities for prospective students
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
